After a year of hiatus due to pandemics, the Surabaya Punk Rock band, Ratshit, finally exposed their revival by releasing their 2 newest singles. These songs are titled βBoringβ and βRomantika Soundsystemβ which are released on various digital streaming sites on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022.
These songs were made from each memberβs weariness towards the local gigs ever since the pandemic happened. Not only does the vacant request for a concert make it daunting for each member to perform, but there are also fewer concerts to attend.
βThese two songs mainly tell about our situation during the pandemic, which makes us unable to do anything and yearn for the vibes from the latter gigs,β said Iddo Wildan, explaining the detail behind the creation of both singles. βFurthermore, these have become our sense of fulfillment because we have been absent from music for so long,β he added.
βBoringβ and βRomantika Soundsystemβ will become new material for their newest EP. This EP is scheduled to be released by the end of 2022. Ratshit has also released a demo previously in 2021, which contains two songs under Bilik Lestari’s record label. Listen below.
